Interpretation (philosophy)

Interpretation is about trying to figure out what something means. It can often involve thinking very carefully about what someone said or wrote to try to understand what they are trying to tell you. For example, if you read a book and there is a part that confuses you, you could think about it from different perspectives or ask questions to try to understand it better. Interpretation can also involve taking a set of facts or data and making decisions or conclusions based on them.
