Interrogation is when an adult talks to another person to get information. It's like when your mommy or daddy asks you about your day at school or what you learned in class.
But, when big people interrogate others, they might ask lots of questions and try to get the person to tell them more than they want to. Sometimes they might even say things that aren't true to try and trick the person into giving them information. This is not nice and can make the person being interrogated feel scared or uncomfortable.
Interrogation can happen for a lot of reasons. Sometimes it's to help figure out who did something wrong, or to find if someone is telling the truth. But it's important to remember that everyone has the right to stay silent if they don't want to answer questions or if they feel like they are being treated unfairly.
