Interrogation of Saddam Hussein

Okay kiddo, so imagine you have a friend who did something wrong and you want to know why they did it. You might ask them questions to try and get answers, right?

Well, a long time ago there was a man named Saddam Hussein who was in charge of a country called Iraq. He did some really bad things and people wanted to know why. So, some other people called interrogators asked him questions too.

But, these interrogators didn't just ask like you or I would ask our friend. They asked very serious questions to try and find out if he had done things that were really, really bad. They wanted to make sure that he would never hurt anyone again.

It lasted a long time and the interrogators had to be very careful because they didn't want to hurt him or say the wrong thing. In the end, they found out a lot of information from Saddam Hussein that helped keep people safe.
