Into Eternity (film)

"Into Eternity" is a movie that talks about something called nuclear waste. Nuclear waste is like really yucky leftovers from when grownups made a special kind of power called nuclear power a long time ago. The leftovers are dangerous and can hurt people and animals if they come near it.

The movie is about people who are working really hard to build a place underground where they can put the nuclear waste so that it won't hurt anyone. The place needs to be very safe so that it doesn't leak and hurt the Earth for a really long time. They call it a "repository," which is like a really big safe that will hold the nuclear waste for thousands of years.

The movie helps us understand that it's really important to keep the nuclear waste safe because it can hurt people and animals. The people working on the repository are trying to do a good thing by taking care of the yucky leftovers.
