Iraq

Iraq is a country in the Middle East. It used to be ruled by a leader named Saddam Hussein. In the early 2000s, some other countries in the world (like the United States) didn't like Saddam Hussein, so they formed an army and attacked him and his army. After a few years, Saddam was defeated and the other countries took over Iraq. They tried to help the people in Iraq have a better life, but it has been hard for the people in Iraq because the government is not very strong and there is a lot of fighting between different groups.
