Irving Sandler

Irving Sandler is someone who studied and wrote about art. He lived a long time ago and he thought it was important to talk about art and what it means. He would go visit artists in their studios and ask them questions about what they were making and why they were making it. Then he would write down what they said and share it with other people who liked art too. He also helped make some really cool art shows that people could go to and see all kinds of different art. Even though Irving Sandler is not here anymore, lots of people still read his writings about art and think he was really smart.
