Islamic Revolutionary State of Afghanistan
So, there was a place called Afghanistan, where people lived. A while back, some people who believed in a religion called Islam wanted to take over the country and make it an Islamic state, which means they wanted the rules of the country to follow the Islamic religion.
They fought with the leaders of Afghanistan and eventually, the Islamic people won and formed a new government called the Islamic Revolutionary State of Afghanistan. The leaders of this new government were from the same Islamic group, and they believed in a strict interpretation of Islam.
They changed many things in the country, like how people dressed, what they could do, and what they could say. They wanted everyone to live according to their strict interpretation of Islamic rules. They also made some enemies because not everyone liked their strict way of living.
Unfortunately, the country had many problems like poverty, corruption, and violence which made it difficult for people to have a good life. Some people had to flee the country and become refugees in other places. So, while the idea of having an Islamic state might have seemed good to some, it didn't bring peace or prosperity to Afghanistan.
