Islamic fundamentalism

Islamic fundamentalism is a type of belief system in which people believe that the teachings of Islam should be taken very seriously and followed without question. The Islamic faith is a religion, and like other religions, there are different levels of commitment. Islamic fundamentalists take the teachings and rules of Islam to the extreme, believing that they should be obeyed without question. This means following the rules for how to pray, how to dress, how to act, and so on. Some of the most common beliefs of Islamic fundamentalist is that women should be treated a certain way, and that sharia law, which is a set of laws based on Muslim beliefs, should be followed.
