Jacobaea vulgaris

Jacobaea vulgaris is a type of plant that can grow in fields and meadows. It has brightly colored yellow flowers that look like fuzzy pompoms. But while these flowers might look pretty, they are actually very dangerous!

If you touch this plant or get its sap on your skin, it can cause a nasty rash. Even worse, if you accidentally eat this plant, it can make you very sick. The leaves and stem of the plant contain chemicals that are toxic to both humans and animals.

So if you ever come across Jacobaea vulgaris, it's best to admire its pretty flowers from a safe distance and avoid touching or eating it. Stick to picking daisies and buttercups instead!
