Janitor

A janitor is a person whose job is to keep a building clean and tidy. They are like friendly helpers for our rooms, schools, offices, and other public places. They come into work after everyone leaves and make sure everything is spick-and-span for the next day.

Have you ever seen someone cleaning up your classroom after you have left for the day? They pick up trash, wipe down your desk, sweep the floors, and make sure everything is neat and tidy. That person is a janitor!

Janitors also restock supplies like paper towels and toilet paper so you have everything you need when you are using the restroom or washing your hands. They also make sure everything is safe and secure, like locking up the doors at the end of the day.

Being a janitor can be hard work, but it's an important job to help keep our homes, schools, and workplaces clean and enjoyable places to be.
