Japan 100 Kannon Pilgrimage

Imagine you are going on an adventure in Japan to find 100 special places called "Kannon". Kannon is a word that means "goddess of mercy" in Japanese.

These 100 special places are very important to Japanese people because they believe that a goddess named Kannon lives in each place, and can bring them good luck and happiness.

Each place is different and some might be a temple or a shrine, but they all have Kannon there. You can visit them on foot or by car and there are usually signs or maps to help you find them.

People from all over the world come to Japan to go on this pilgrimage, which means they go on a journey to visit all 100 places. It can take many weeks, or even months to finish, but it is a very special and spiritual journey that many people enjoy.

Along the way, you might see beautiful scenery or meet new friends who are also on the pilgrimage.

Once you have visited all 100 places, you will have seen many different parts of Japan and have a deeper appreciation for Kannon and the culture of Japan.
