Japanese wine

Okay, so you know how sometimes grown-ups drink a drink called wine? Well, in Japan, they make their own special kind of wine called Japanese wine!

It's made from grapes just like regular wine, but Japan has a unique climate and soil that makes the grapes taste different. So the Japanese wine tastes a little different than other kinds of wine you might have tried.

Some types of Japanese wine are made from a grape called Koshu, which has been grown in Japan for thousands of years! Other types of Japanese wine use grapes that are more common in other parts of the world.

One really cool thing about Japanese wine is that some of the wineries there make it in a very special way. They use a method called "koshu age," which means they age the wine in clay pots underground for a really long time. This gives the wine a really unique flavor that you can't find anywhere else!

So even though Japanese wine might look and sound a little different than the wine you're used to, it's still made from grapes and it can be really delicious. Just remember, though, it's only for grown-ups to drink!
