Jazz royalty

Jazz royalty is money that a jazz musician earns when someone uses their music. When someone records a song, uses it in a movie, or plays it on the radio, the musician who wrote it can get money. It's kind of like a reward for creating something special that lots of people want to hear. Musicians get paid a certain amount each time someone uses their music, and it's called jazz royalty.
