Jehoash of Israel

Jehoash was a king in a place called Israel a really long time ago. He became king when he was just a little boy, so some grown-up helpers helped him. Jehoash was only able to be king for a long time because he listened to advice from people who were older and wiser than him.

Jehoash did some good things as king too. He helped take care of the temple where people went to worship, and he fixed up some parts of it that were broken. He also had a really good idea to collect money to help fix up the temple.

Jehoash was a good king who tried to take care of his people and make his country a better place.
