Jerry Pournelle

Jerry Pournelle was a very famous writer and popular science fiction author. He wrote stories about space exploration and interstellar warfare, amongst other topics. He was born in 1933 and died in 2017. He was influential in the development of science fiction as an artform, and many of his concepts have become a part of popular science fiction culture. He wrote both fiction and non-fiction books and articles, and was an active advocate for the space industry throughout his life.
