Jesus in Christianity

Jesus is a very important person in the Christian religion. He was a religious teacher who lived in the Middle East 2,000 years ago. Christians believe that Jesus was God's son, born to a mother named Mary. They also believe that he was born without sin and never did anything wrong. Jesus taught people about God's love and also helped people who were sick or suffering. Christians believe that Jesus died on a cross to save us from our sins, then rose from the dead 3 days later. Today, Christians believe that Jesus is alive and that he is a great teacher and leader.
