Jet bridge

Okay kiddo, have you ever been on a plane and had to walk outside to get on it? Well sometimes, when planes land at the airport, they get to park next to a special tunnel called a "jet bridge". It's like a hallway that connects the plane to the airport terminal building so you don't have to go outside.

The jet bridge is kinda like a secret hideout for the planes. It's a big long tube with a door on one end that hooks up to the plane's door. They even have little rooms where the plane crew can switch out and rest before their next flight. It's like the plane and the airport building are having a sleepover and the jet bridge is the secret tunnel that connects them.

Using a jet bridge makes it easier for people to get on and off the plane. Plus, they don't have to worry about getting all wet if it's raining or hot if it's sunny outside. So, the jet bridge is like a helpful friend that helps the plane and people at the same time!
