Ground support equipment

Ground support equipment is like the tools that grown-ups use to help airplanes do their job. You know how when you go on a trip with your family, you have to pack a lot of things like clothes, toys, and snacks? Well, planes are the same way! They need a lot of help getting ready to fly.

So, ground support equipment helps the planes by doing things like giving them fuel, cleaning their windows and floors, putting their luggage on the plane, and even helping them to start up their engines.

Just like how you have different toys for different activities, planes need different ground support equipment for different tasks. For example, there are special trucks called fuel trucks that bring fuel to the plane, and other trucks called catering trucks that bring food and drinks to the plane. There are also workers called ground crew who help the planes by attaching and detaching things to and from the plane.

Without ground support equipment, planes couldn't do their job properly, and they might not be able to take us on our fun trips around the world!
