Jewish quota

Jewish Quota was a way for colleges in the United States to limit the number of Jewish students that could attend their school. In the 1920s and 1930s, many colleges had a quota that limited the number of Jewish students to a certain percentage of the student population. This was done because some people in the college thought that having too many Jews in a school would take away opportunities from other students. This quota kept a lot of Jewish students from getting into college, and this was seen as unfair because it didn't treat everyone the same.
