ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Joint honours degree

Okay, kiddo! So you know how when you go to school, you have different classes for different subjects? Like math, science, and reading? Well, when someone goes to college, they can pick what they want to learn about by choosing a degree. A degree is like a special set of classes that they take to become really knowledgeable about something.

Now, a joint honours degree is when someone decides to study two different subjects at the same time and get a degree in both. So, for example, someone might want to learn about both history and psychology. Instead of just getting a degree in history or psychology, they could choose to do a joint honours degree in both.

It's kind of like getting two puzzle pieces to fit together perfectly - both subjects work together to make someone a really well-rounded and knowledgeable person!
