Joseph Yablonski

Joseph Yablonski was a man who worked really hard to make things better for coal miners who did not have very good working conditions. He wanted to help make things safe for them to work in the mines so that they could take care of their families better. But sadly, some people did not want him to do this and they did a very bad thing - they hurt him and his family, even killing him and his family members. Despite the danger, Joseph Yablonski was brave and continued to fight for better working conditions for coal miners until the end of his life.
