Josephson effect

The Josephson effect is when electricity from one side of something can pass through to the other side without any wires. It happens when two materials (like metal and superconductors) come together and create a tunnel between them. The electricity can flow through the tunnel and come out on the other side. It's like something is opening a gate for the electricity to go through. It's pretty amazing!
