Jounce

Jounce is a word we use to describe how things move. When something is jouncing, it means it is moving up and down really quickly. You know how when you jump on a trampoline and you go up and down? That's kind of what jouncing looks like.

When you're riding in a car on a bumpy road, you might feel like you're jouncing around, because the car is going up and down a lot. Jouncing can happen fast or slow, and it can make things feel bouncy or wobbly.
