Julian Tuwim

Julian Tuwim was a man who loved to write poems. He was born a long time ago, over a hundred years ago, in Poland. He was so good at writing poems that people still read them and enjoy them today!

Have you ever read a poem or sung a song that made you feel happy or sad? That's because words can be very powerful! Julian's poems were very powerful too. His words could make you laugh, make you think or even make you feel a little bit scared.

Julian wrote lots of different poems, some were silly and funny, like "Lokomotywa" which is about a train. Others were more serious or sad, like "Do prostego człowieka" which is about how important it is to be kind to others.

People loved Julian's poems so much that they wanted to make sure that they would never be forgotten. So, they made sure that his poems were shared with children all around the world. In Poland, his poems are so famous that they even have a special day just for him called "Dzień Juliana Tuwima" which means "Julian Tuwim Day"!

So, Julian Tuwim was a very special man who loved to write poems that made people feel all sorts of things. Today, we can still enjoy his poems and remember how great he was!
