Juliana R. Force

Juliana R. Force was a very important person who helped to make art famous and valuable. She was not an artist herself, but she worked at an important museum called the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her job was to help choose which artworks would be shown at the museum and to take care of them so they would stay in good condition.

Juliana R. Force was famous for discovering a lot of famous artists who were not well-known at the time. She would look at their artwork and decide if it was good enough to show at the museum. She liked to take risks and show new and different types of art that people might not have seen before.

She also helped to start a big event that happens every year called the Biennial. The Biennial is a really cool art show that happens in New York City where lots of different artists get to show their artwork together. It's a really big deal!
