ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Justice and Public Safety Practitioner

Okay kiddo, so justice and public safety practitioners are people who work to make sure that everyone is safe and treated fairly.

Let's say you have a cookie and your friend wants a piece. You might think it's fair to share the cookie and give them a piece, but what if they took the whole cookie without asking? That wouldn't be fair, would it?

That's where justice and public safety practitioners come in. They make sure that everyone follows the rules and that people are treated fairly. They might be police officers who make sure that people don't break the law and are safe, or judges who make decisions about what should happen if someone breaks the law.

They also work to prevent bad things from happening. For example, they might teach people about the dangers of drugs or make sure that buildings have fire alarms so people can escape if there's a fire.

In short, justice and public safety practitioners are people who work to keep everyone safe and make sure that people are treated fairly. They're like superheroes in real life!
