Kōchikai

Kōchikai is a type of Japanese gathering. It usually involves inviting a small group of people, usually friends, family, or coworkers for a small party. The gathering usually takes place in somebody's home and consists of eating, talking, and playing small games or activities together. It's a way to have fun and get to know each other better.
