ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

KC (patient)

KC (patient) is a way for doctors and other medical professionals to keep track of a patient's medical information. It stands for "Knowledge Care," which means that the doctor and other medical staff use the information in the system to help make decisions about the patient's treatment. The system allows doctors and other medical staff to see information about the patient's medical history, current medications, allergies, and other important medical information. All of this is used to help make sure the treatment the patient receives is the best and most up-to-date.
