Okay, kiddo! So, imagine you have a toy box with lots of different toys in it. Now, some toys you like more than others, right? Kadec norm is kind of like that – it helps us measure how much we like or prefer one thing over another.
But instead of toys, we use numbers. Let's say we have two numbers, like 5 and 10. Kadec norm helps us figure out which number we like more or how much more we like one number compared to the other.
To do this, we use a special formula called the Lp norm. This formula takes the difference between the two numbers and raises it to a power (that's why it's called Lp – the "p" stands for power). Then, it adds up all those differences and takes the p-th root of the sum.
Why do we do all that math? It's because it helps us get a better understanding of how much we prefer one thing over another. Kadec norm helps us compare things and figure out which one is the best fit for us. Pretty cool, huh?
