Kakivak

Kakivak is an important tool that people use when they go out into the cold places of the world like the Arctic or Antarctica. Just like how you wear mittens, a hat, and a warm coat to keep you warm, kakivak is a special tool that helps people move around safely on the ice and snow.

Kakivak is made up of two parts, the first part is a long stick or pole that is usually made out of wood or metal. The second part is a sharp, pointed blade that is attached to the bottom of the stick. This blade is made out of metal and is very sharp because it needs to cut through the ice and snow easily.

When people use kakivak, they hold the stick part in their hand and use the pointed blade to help them walk on the ice and snow. They push the pointed blade into the ice or snow and use it to help them balance and move forward. Also, some people use kakivak to dig through the ice or snow to find things they need, like fish or animals to eat.

Overall, kakivak is an important tool that helps people stay safe and move around in cold and snowy places.
