Kalama Sutta

The Kalama Sutta is a teaching from Buddha about not accepting things without question. The Kalama Sutta teaches us that we should use our own minds and ask questions about things before believing them. Buddha said that we should not just accept things without testing them and seeing if they are true. He said that we should think for ourselves and be able to use logic and reason to decide if something is true or not. Buddha said that when something has been tested and found to be true, we should believe it and follow it. The Kalama Sutta is a reminder to be sure to always be questioning and thinking carefully before believing something.
