Kalyuka

Kalyuka is a traditional Russian stove that people used to use to cook their food and also to heat their homes. It looks like a big brick box with some holes in it and a chimney attached to the top.

To use a kalyuka, you first need to start a fire inside of it using wood or other things that will burn. The fire heats up the bricks that make up the box and these bricks then store the heat.

When you want to cook something, you place it on top of the kalyuka using special pots and pans that are designed to work with this type of stove. The heat from the brick box will cook your food slowly and evenly, which is great for certain types of dishes like stews or soups.

But the best thing about a kalyuka is that it can also heat your home! The bricks get so warm that they release heat into the room, which helps to keep everyone nice and cozy.

So, in summary, a kalyuka is an old-fashioned stove from Russia that people used to use to cook food and heat their homes. It works by storing heat in bricks and releasing it slowly over time.
