Kamaboko is kind of like a cake made of fish! It comes from Japan and is very popular there. To make it, first a special kind of fish called surimi is ground up until it turns into a paste. Then that paste is mixed with things like egg, starch, and salt.
The mixture is put into a special shaped container and steamed or boiled until it becomes firm like a cake. Once it's cooled down, it's sliced into smaller pieces that can be eaten.
Kamaboko comes in different colors like white, pink, and sometimes even green! It can be eaten by itself or added to soups or noodle dishes. Some people also like to eat it with soy sauce or mustard.
