KanJam is a game where you throw a flying disc, also known as a Frisbee, back and forth with your friends. There are two black plastic cans that are set up about 50 feet apart from each other. The goal of the game is to throw the flying disc into the can or hit the can with the disc. The person throwing the disc is called the "thrower" and the person catching the disc is called the "defender."
If the thrower throws the disc and it goes into the top of the can, it's called a "bucket" and is worth 3 points. If the thrower throws the disc and the defender hits the disc into the side of the can, that's called a "dinger" and is worth 2 points. The first team to reach 21 points wins!
There are some special rules in KanJam. For example, if the thrower throws the disc and it hits the front of the can, the defender can try to hit the disc into the top of the can for a "bucket" point. Or if the thrower throws the disc and it hits the ground and then bounces into the can, that's also a "bucket" point.
It's a really fun game to play outside with your friends!
