ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Kata-vari dialect

So you know how sometimes people in different places talk a little different? Like they might use different words or say things in a different order? Well, the kata-vari dialect is like that, but for a group of people in India.

In India, there are lots of different languages and dialects that people speak. Kata-vari is one of those dialects, and it's pretty unique because it's used by a specific group of people who live in a certain area of India.

When people speak kata-vari, they use some words and sounds that might be a little different from the way other people in India talk. For example, they might say "pate" instead of "patta" for the word "leaf," or "vichar" instead of "soch" for the word "think."

But even though there are some differences in the words people use, they all still understand each other and can communicate just fine. And that's the cool thing about dialects like kata-vari - they show us that even though people might talk a little different, they're all still part of the same big human family.
