ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Khandro Rinpoche

Okay, so you know how sometimes people believe in things that you can't see or touch, like love or kindness or imagination? Well, Khandro Rinpoche is someone who believes in some of those things too, but in a special way that comes from a place called Buddhism.

Buddhism is a way of thinking and teaching that some people follow, and it's all about understanding yourself and the world around you. Khandro Rinpoche is a lady who comes from a family who has been following Buddhism for a really long time, and she is a teacher who helps other people understand it too.

But wait, there's more! Khandro Rinpoche is also believed to be something called a "khandro," which means "sky dancer" in a language called Tibetan. This doesn't mean she's actually dancing in the sky (although that would be pretty cool), but it means she is someone who has a special connection to a Buddhist goddes who is said to dance in the sky.

Basically, Khandro Rinpoche is a teacher who helps people understand Buddhism and also has a special connection to a very cool goddess. Pretty neat, huh?
