Khinkali

Khinkali is a kind of food that comes from a country called Georgia. It's like a big dumpling that's filled with meat, cheese or vegetables.

Imagine you have a ball of dough that's very soft, and you put some yummy things inside, like ground beef or cheese or mashed up potatoes, and then you close it up like a little pillow. But the top part of the pillow is left open, and the filling stays inside because of the dough being closed beneath it.

Then, you cook the dumpling in boiling water for a few minutes, until the dough is all soft and cooked, and the filling inside is hot and tasty.

When you want to eat it, you hold the dumpling by the top part that's open, and you take a bite out of the bottom part, and then you can drink the hot and tasty broth that's inside before you eat the rest of the dumpling.
