Alright kiddo, have you ever heard of wrestling? It's when two people try to push or throw each other to the ground.
Now, in Cambodia, there's a special kind of wrestling called khmer traditional wrestling. It's been around for a really, really long time, like hundreds and hundreds of years!
The wrestlers wear special outfits called krama, which are colorful scarves that they wrap around their waist. They also wear something called an angkunh, which is a kind of bracelet made of cloth or rope that they tie around their biceps.
The wrestling happens in a big circle called a sdech, and all around the sdech there are people watching and cheering.
The goal of khmer traditional wrestling is to make the other wrestler touch the ground with anything other than the soles of their feet. So if they fall on their knees, or their hands, or their butt, they lose!
It's not just about strength, though. The wrestlers also have to be very smart and quick-thinking. They use lots of tricky moves and strategies to try and get the other wrestler off balance.
Sometimes the matches can go on for a really long time, and it takes a lot of energy to keep wrestling like that. But in the end, the wrestler who stays standing wins!
So that's khmer traditional wrestling. It's a really cool sport that's been a part of Cambodian culture for a super long time.
