Kickstarter is a way people can get help to create a project they care about. First, people create a project and identify how much money they need to complete it. People who like the project then can donate money to it. The money people donate will only be used if the project reaches its goal before the deadline. That means, when enough money is raised, the project can be put into action. Sometimes, you get rewards for donating to a project, like a free item from the project. So, it's like a game - if more people donate, the project can be made.
