Kidnapping of children for forced Germanization by Nazi Germany

Nazi Germany was a terrible regime during World War II, and they wanted to Germanize (make people look and act more like Germans) other countries they took over. To do this, they kidnapped children from those countries and forced them to act and sound like Germans. They made them learn the German language, sing German songs, and wear German clothes. The Nazis also tried to make them forget about their own families and culture, and made them think only German things were important. This was a horrible and cruel thing to do, and thankfully it doesn't happen anymore.
