ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Knacker

Okay, so you know how sometimes when a farm animal gets really old or sick and can't keep up with the other animals on the farm, the farmer might decide it's time to put them down? This process is called "knacking" or "knackering" and the person who does it is called a "knacker."

Basically, a knacker is someone who takes care of getting rid of animals that are no longer healthy or useful on a farm. They might come to the farm and take the animal away to be euthanized or slaughtered for meat or other products. It's a sad job, but it's important to make sure that the other animals on the farm stay healthy and safe.

Does that make sense, kiddo?
