Koschei

Koschei is a character from Russian folklore. He is an evil sorcerer who hides his soul inside an egg hidden in a duck, which is hidden inside a hare, which is hidden inside a chest, which is buried deep beneath the earth. Usually, the hero of the story has to go on a journey to find the chest and save Koschei's soul. The story is meant to teach kids not to fear the unknown, but to be brave and find the strength to face it.
