Kozhukkatta is a yummy and traditional South Indian sweet snack that is made of rice flour, grated coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder.
To make kozhukkatta, first we mix the rice flour with some hot water and knead it to form a soft dough.
Then, we make a filling by mixing grated coconut with jaggery and cardamom powder.
We take some dough and shape it into small balls. Then, using our fingers we press the ball in the middle and create a small hole.
We take a small amount of the coconut-jaggery filling and place it inside the hole.
We seal the ball by bringing the edges of the dough together and shape it into a small dumpling.
Finally, we steam the dumplings in a steamer for about 10-15 minutes until they are cooked perfectly.
Kozhukkatta is a healthy and delicious snack that can be enjoyed anytime of the day. Yum!
