Kyariaūman

Kyariaūman is a folk story that comes from Japan. It's about a kappa, which is a kind of mystical creature that lives in rivers and ponds. In the story, the kappa tricks people into giving it gifts or doing favors for it. If the kappa is pleased, it will bring good luck. But if you don't follow the kappa's instructions, it can bring bad luck. People usually wear a hat shaped like a kappa when they tell the story to remind them of how the kappa from the story acted.
