Gender inequality in Japan

Okay, so you know how there are boys and girls, right? In Japan, some people think that boys are better than girls and they treat them unfairly. This is called gender inequality.

For example, some people think that boys should be the ones who work outside of the house and make money, while girls should stay at home and take care of the family. This means that girls might not get the same opportunities to go to school or work, even if they are just as good as boys.

In Japan, some jobs are only for boys, like being a politician or a CEO of a big company. This means that girls might not get those jobs even if they work really hard and are really smart.

This is not fair, because everyone should have the same opportunities no matter if they are a boy or a girl. People are working to make things better and fairer for everyone, but it's still a problem in Japan.
