L² cohomology

L² cohomology is a way to measure the shape and structure of mathematics. It looks at the relationships between different mathematical objects, like shapes or numbers, and pools that information together to give us a better understanding of what's happening. It's a bit like measuring the way two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle fit together; L² cohomology looks at how that relationship affects the whole puzzle.
