L-BFGS

L-BFGS is a fancy computer tool that helps you solve difficult math problems. Imagine you have a big messy maze to solve and you can only move one step at a time. L-BFGS helps you figure out which direction to move in to get to the end of the maze faster. It does this by remembering the steps you've taken and using that information to make smarter moves. L-BFGS is really good at solving mazes that have lots of twists and turns, and it can work quickly even with really complicated mazes.
