LARLE crater

Larle Crater is a big hole on a planet called Mars. It's like a giant, round bowl that's over 16 miles wide (that's like 26 kilometers - you could fit over 200 football fields inside it!). Scientists think Larle Crater was made a very long time ago, probably billions of years ago, when a big rock or asteroid from outer space crashed into Mars with a lot of force. It was such a huge impact that it left a big dent in the planet's surface! Now, scientists study the Larle Crater to learn more about Mars and what it was like in the past.
