La Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Déportation

Okay kiddo, so there was a really sad thing that happened a long time ago called the Holocaust. During that time, many people were taken away from their homes and families and sent to concentration camps. It was a really horrible time in history.

Now, there are people who want to make sure that we never forget what happened during that time. That's where La Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Déportation comes in. This is a group of people who want to remember those who were taken away and make sure that we always remember what happened.

They do this by collecting information and artifacts from that time and sharing them with people so they can learn about it. They also hold events and create educational materials for teachers to help people learn about the Holocaust and how it affected so many people.

So, the foundation is kind of like a big group of people who are working together to make sure we never forget what happened during the Holocaust, and that we learn from it so we can make sure it never happens again.
