Labradoodle

A labradoodle is a type of dog that is a mix between a labrador retriever and a poodle. Imagine that you have a box of crayons with some blue crayons and some red crayons. When you mix the blue crayon with the red crayon, you get a new color called purple. That is kind of like how labradoodles are made - you mix two different kinds of dogs together to get a new kind of dog.

Labradoodles were first made in Australia in the 1980s because some people wanted dogs that wouldn't cause allergies. Poodle dogs have very curly and hair-like fur instead of normal dog fur, and that type of fur doesn't usually make people with allergies sneeze or get itchy. Labradoodles usually have that kind of fur because they have some poodle genes in them.

Labradoodles are usually very friendly dogs that like to play and give people hugs. They are also known for being very smart and easy to train. Many people like to have labradoodles as pets because they are so lovable and cuddly.
